I've had two from two different places now. They are both salty cheese. Madness to have them together.

As a veggie halloumi fan I've never seen this combo but would avoid it if I did. Like you said there's too much salty cheese (and cucumber is the work of the devil).

Is this from a chain sandwich place/supermarket ?

I had a salad the other week that had goat's cheese, feta, two types of olives plus tapenade, sundried tomato, anchovies ... and a few shy bits of cucumber and tomato. I looked like Donatella Versace's arsehole by about bite two.

Well anything with goats cheese in is ruined by definition :)

Halloumi is rubbish cold anyway.

That's wrong. Pret do, or did do, a warm halloumi, falafel and salad/sauce wrap.

Was very nice, but it's a pain for me to get near a Pret, it's expensive for what it is and it's a piece of piss to make so I just make something similar at home, when I feel like it.
