snow globes

Ds 4 has pierced the bottom of a snow globe and drank a little bit of the liquid from inside. I was upstairs cleaning the bathroom and DS15 was watching him.
I am currently panicking big time should I phone 111? in the wiki article it says "The liquid has evolved to light oil and then a mixture of water and antifreeze (glycerin or glycol)."
Do you think that means antifreeze that is glycerin or glycol which would be safe i think or do you think that means antifreeze and glycerin or glycol which would not be safe

I'd ring 111 anyway, it's better to be safe than sorry

Have done now am waiting on a call back. The logical side of me is saying it's a toy legally it would have to be safe for them to sell it. Plus it would have only been a tiny bit.
The crazed panic side is saying antifreeze can kill how do i know how much it takes to cause harm.

There's no point in panicking until they tell you it's something to panic about. I'm sure your little one will be absolutely fine, but I know how worrying it is being a parent! Fingers crossed for you that everything will be okay!☺️

@Nousernameforme hope everything's okay OP

Sorry @dippyeggsandsoldiers we got a call back and got told to take him in.
So we did and then we were told by a doc to get him to drink milk and that he would be fine as it would have only been a tiny bit.
This is the same dc that bit a lightbulb off the Christmas tree two years ago. I'm sure my phone call from the health visitor next week will be interesting.

The stuff in snowglobes has killed pets when it has leaked or been dropped, good that you got advice. Anti freeze is a killer.
