Me! 5 pictures of Majorca, 3 pictures o Amsterdam and 4 of my best friends wedding. Loved every minute of all three!

Me! I manage about 2-3 on each trip. I just forget as I'm too busy drinking in all the sights with my actual eyes!

TheDowagerCuntess · 16/08/2018 18:34

Ah, no.

Recently back from a month away, and apparently took over 700..?? 😬

captainprincess · 16/08/2018 18:37

I got back from NYC recently and took hardly any Blushbut I kinda feel like I only remember the pictures that were taken not the rest of the time, if that makes sense. I mostly just enjoyed the sights whilst everyone around me had their phones out taking pics!

ICouldBeSomebodyYouKnow · 16/08/2018 18:37

Yes. I take loads, but somehow forget the important ones, usually of people who've some half way round the world. Also, completely forgetting my camera is my recurring nightmare.

DH losing a camera with the only photos of a one-in-a-lifetime event was only too real though DH doesn't know yet

Lol I was camera happy on last break away think I overdid it ooops.

DieAntword · 16/08/2018 18:53

I always forget if I’m having fun. If I’m bored out of my mind it’s easier to remember.

Deathraystare · 16/08/2018 19:11

Yes, but also when i get together with my family - I take photos but no one does of me. It is like I am not there!!!

Mummybearpeanut · 16/08/2018 19:37

Same here always the photographer hardly in the pics. That and I'm terrible at selfies of dc partner and me

KindergartenKop · 16/08/2018 23:02

It's ok to just enjoy the moment. People live through a camera lens these days!

Mummybearpeanut · 16/08/2018 23:06

There s times when dcs do something so funny or sweet and I'm wishing I'd recorded it but memories stay in the mind long as I don't lose my marbles too early

bluetongue · 16/08/2018 23:10

I actually have a recurring dream about going on holiday and forgetting to take photos!

There’s definitely a balance to be had between obsessing about getting Instagram worthy shots your whole trip and not having enough photos to remind you of the trip.

Mummybearpeanut · 16/08/2018 23:14

You're right there .I'm not on fb or Instagram but you see some people retaking photos that have to be perfect just to put on their page .the best photos are the natural ones

Its difficult to think about photos when you have to prep for day out, carry most the stuff, drive, supervise the kids etc.

I usually remember to take a couple a day thats it.
