I have had about 7 or 8 emails from Netflix saying people are logging into my account. First it was Bristol, then Wokingham and now Bedford. I've changed the password and signed out of all devices but have had another 3 emails again today.
Anyone else had this ?

Are you sure it's from Netflix ? I've had a few scam emails from the recently and so has DH - he doesn't even have Netflix

Op.. when you changed your details did you do it on Netflix or did you follow a link in the email you got?

If you followed a link, go to Netflix independently and change it again.

I haven't had a scam Netflix email, but I'm always getting scam Amazon and Paypal emails. If I'm not sure about an email I always hover over it in the inbox until the address appears. I won't even open an email if it's not the proper email address - you can usually suss out the dodgy ones.

I'd check the address that the emails are coming from just in case it is a scam.

I would imagine they are scam. As u can log into Netflix from anywhere. I would email them to check.

raspberrysuicide · 16/08/2018 19:17

I didn't follow the link from the email I went straight to the app and did it from there.
However the emails are coming from an actual Netflix account and is the same email address as the ones I got afterwards confirming my password change.
Its really odd, I was convinced it was a scam tbh

Might be worth contacting Netflix direct then. Might just be a glitch in their system.

ChardonnaysPrettySister · 16/08/2018 19:23

Funny.

I've used it all over the world and never had any emails from them.

WooYa · 16/08/2018 19:59

I'd suggest contacting them too but it's good you went through the app instead of a link.

BananaToffo · 16/08/2018 21:54

Contact Netflix direct.

About two months ago we noticed that things were being watched on our account by someone other than us. Cheeky dicks had even upgraded our account to 4 screen, had given themselves an account name & changed the email address to their own.

We sent them a rude email and contacted Netflix. Haven't had a problem since.
