Could you try relaxation sounds from YouTube? It helps me sleep and I think it may help you focus on that and relax? Hope you feel better soon.

Breathe into a paper bag to regulate your breathing and call gp for an appointment. Are you having cbt or counselling?

Do you think you can manage a countdown? It always helps ground me if I'm having a panic attack. Find 5 things you can see, 4 things you can touch, 3 things you can hear, 2 things you can smell, and 1 thing you can taste. If it helps write them down.

If the noises in the house are making you anxious do you have an iPod or something that you can listen to? Focus on that so you're in control of one of your sensory inputs.

Ground yourself

5 things you can see
5 things you can hear
5 things you can touch
5 things you can smell

Breathe.

Find something rectangular like a tissue box and follow the sides with your finger. Start with the long side. Each time follow the pattern of breathe in on the long, hold short, breathe out long, hold short.

You’re ok. You’re body wants to fight or fly (which is why you are using the toilet a lot). Just keep repeating I’m ok. There’s nothing to be afraid of.

I had a spell of this last year which lasted about 5 days. I'd lie in bed, staring at the ceiling with my heart at 140 bpm feeling like I was about to make a parachute jump or something.

I tried everything I could to calm down but nothing worked.

After 72 hours of no sleep whatsoever, vomiting, crying, bleeding gums and lose teeth, my GP gave me 7.5mg Zimovane tablets which at least helped me get to sleep. Mirtazapine then helped me sort the anxiety and panic attacks.

You have my sympathy - panic is horrible - a constant never ending fear that won't subside. Just horrible.
