Has anybody got any experience with the following - got married in 2016 and changed name by deed poll to double barrelled. Haven't yet changed name on my passport as I haven't yet been away abroad apart from trips booked before I got married so details were booked under my old name. Currently applying for my child's first passport and on their birth certificate my new name is used. Will this cause problems as the name on my passport doesn't match up to my new name? Should I change my passport first (even though there is over twelve months left on mine) before applying for a child's passport? Would appreciate any advice as we want to go away in October so want to reduce any delays!!
