I need entertaining as I’m stuck in hospital what have you/kids/DH eaten today?

Me- no breakfast, 1/2 chicken breast for lunch, one Costa cappachino and a chicken sandwich for dinner.

Kids- been with family- breakfast ‘hoops’ snack chocolate fingers and a fairy cake. Lunch- ham sandwich, carrots, peppers, cucumber, tomatoes, yoghurt.
Snack- both stole a biscuit from my supply in hospital
Dinner-Pizza and salad.

DH- toast. Lunch was a ham sandwich at work. Snacks involved crisps, chocolate, apple, biscuits and OJ
Dinner- a chicken salad brought from the hospital canteen whilst visiting.

I need to think about meal planning for when I finally escape and feel up to cooking again so also looking for inspiration

Gosh poor you - miserable. Hope it’s not for long!

Breakfast A banana
Lunch Poached eggs with grilled tomatoes on toast at a lovely little cafe.
Supper A bowl of cereal with blueberries.

Toast for breakfast.

Piece of banana cake my three year old made yesterday (I helped!)

M&S lentil salad for lunch.

Homemade butternut squash soup with crispy bacon and sourdough toast for dinner.

A raspberry fool from M&S for pudding. And some candy floss grapes.

We went to M&S shopping today if you haven't guessed!

Hope you feel better soon.

Hope you feel better soon and will soon be home

Coffee first thing. Then after mowing the lawns....
Brunch: sweet potato, cabbage, bacon and egg baked in the oven and a fruit and veg smoothie (homemade blitzed in blender) of carrot, cucumber, celery, blueberries, OJ, turmeric and spirulina.

Mid afternoon decaf coffee and a few dates topped with almond butter

Dinner tandoori spiced chicken served with roasted mixed peppers, mushrooms & onions

And after trying to be good all day I’ve now scoffed a bowl of onion rings (bag of crisp type not hot hot deep fried type) whilst drinking Pinot
Grin
