Can anyone recommend something to do with a toddler near Oxford?

We are travelling from Southampton up towards Leicester tomorrow and would like to stop enroute for a few hours. Thinking maybe Oxford but open to any suggestion along the A34/A43/M1.

Toddler is almost 2 and so looking for something like a farm park, small amusement park, soft play etc that’s on our journey.

Abbey meadow in Abingdon is nice, and free. Newly refurbished park, splash park and you can walk along the Thames if you feel like it.

No probs. Rookery doesn't take cards so take cash if you decide to go there!

If the M1 takes you near Jct 14 then Gulliver's Land may be an option, if you like long queues, overpriced food and general tat.
