Has anyone flown with them in the last year and did they serve peanuts?

This is the deciding factor in a holiday I book. Thx.

I have flown with Sri Lankan many times, last time last year. There were no peanuts, but I was in business class. I do remember being served cashew nuts previously, which is logical as they are a product of Sri Lanka.

If this is allergy related, then surely you would be better to contact the airline themselves Confused

I've not flown with any airline who serves peanuts automatically. Although I gather Ryanair pay their staff with them...

We flew back from Venice with BA last year, and they served NO food as they couldn't guarantee it hadn't been contaminated by nuts, and the guy behind us had just informed them he was allergic.

Good job it wasn't longhaul!

Ok. I have contacted them but I'm not impressed tbh. Seems anyone with a nut allergy has to play roulette on a plane

Flown short haul a million times. But long haul is more worrying to me.
