Which vacuum cleaner should we buy?

Boring question alert!

Our vacuum cleaner has just died, a few months after the end of the guarantee (typical!)

So what should we replace it with? Are the robot ones any good?

(Not Dyson because DH tells me Mr Dyson is a bastard Brexiteer.)

I've got a Miele which I love but my friends swears by good old Henry. I've got a houseful if kids and pets do it's rigorously tested.

Our Henry is 15 years old and still going strong.

We've got a rumba and as much as it's fun and is great for keeping things tidy, you still need another vacuum for giving it a proper going over! I've got a shark pet cordless that I love!

We have old Eureka £40 so long as you clean out the filter and empty regularly you'll be fine.
Ours works better than Ds's dyson
