Still haven’t had the follow up from consultants. Total abdo and I feel much better just get tired. I’m stood outside of Lush and it’s been a stressful day. Is there any reason why not???

Is you wound fully healed?
If you get in the bath are you able to get out of it ok? Without help?

I'm no medic but I would have thought that as long as the wound is fully closed and you can heave yourself out without straining anything you should be OK.

I had my first bath after 4 weeks. I didn't stay in too long and was careful drying the wound. I had a TAH and BSO.

Yes, I remember that stage - it's awful Flowers. It does pass off - it took about six months in my case. I found taking cod liver oil capsules helped a bit with the creaky feeling.

I feel like no one understands why can’t we have menopause clinics?!!!

That would be a good idea! My workplace has a menopause support group which is helpful - it's a large company so there are lots of us going through it. I had great support from a colleague who had also had a hysterectomy, particularly around the best way to phase myself back to work (taking it very steadily at my own pace).
