Looking for bright coloured toddler boy clothes

Hope no one minds me asking. I'm looking for some bright coloured toddler clothes for 2 year old ds. I'm fed up of all the boys clothes being grey and blue. However I can only seem to find nice bright things either brand new on sites like frugi what cost a fortune and even second hand on eBay they're ridiculously expensive. If anybody could point me in the right direction of some similar style things that are cheap, including second hand, I would me really grateful thank you

Maybe look around your local charity shops...

Svanhildur · 15/08/2018 11:04

H&M has its fair share of the classic blue/grey/brown boys' clothes, but also lots of bright pieces.

The supermarkets are brilliant at the moment, Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Asda.

I have a much older boy (9) but got lots of lovely colourful things in H&M And M&Co for this summer (also had smaller sizes) - bright yellow, pink, purple, sage green, red shorts and some really brilliant (£2.99 H&M) colourful t-shirts- yellow, pink, turquoise, bright blue, purple etc.

I believe there is 25% off at Sainsbury's.

Aftereights91 · 15/08/2018 11:10

Ah I didn't think about h and m I keep forgetting they exist, I'll try there thank you

Mini boden from ebay
Little bird

Gertrudethestag · 15/08/2018 11:13

Oh god i had this problem. Vertbaudet is cheerful but delivery is slow. However there is always a voucher code somewhere to use! Smile

Recently bought some bright bits in Gap. I bought 2 tees for £10 and theyre incredibly soft and wash well. DS loves them! Again - there's always a voucher code somewhere to use

jjemimapuddleduck · 15/08/2018 11:16

Ooh Little Bird is good call too - in the sale!

WooYa · 15/08/2018 11:17

Sainsbury's and Boots have nice bright clothes

PaulHollywoodsSexGut · 15/08/2018 11:18

Get thee to Morrison’s

Great sale on plus their boys things are adorable and very bright and jazzy

ImSoExhausted · 15/08/2018 11:18

Another vote for Sainsbury’s! They have 25% off at the moment and if you get a nectar card and the app, I'm sure there's 5 x points on for clothing.

I find their stuff can be similar to Little Bird in terms of design, they always have fun coloured joggers and t-shirts

aaahhhBump · 15/08/2018 11:19

Gap and verbaudet (sp?) have really good sales on at the moment. Got a lovely 3 pack t-shirts to put away for friends d's birthday all very bright.

KatsutheClockworkOctopus · 15/08/2018 11:29

Was going to say Little bird as well. Ds had some lovely bright things from there when he was little.

CrazyOldBagLady · 15/08/2018 11:30

Following. I don’t see many bright, colourful options out and about, so end up buying second hand or out of season things in sales from Frugi/Kite etc. If I see something nice in the supermarket it’s usually spoilt by some sort of slogan. I assume that the majority of shoppers want very gendered clothes for their kids, or mini adult outfits, so this is what the supermarkets produce. H&M and Next are slightly better, but still lots of blues or darks (or slogans) for boys. Agree with the poster above about Little Bird, they are usually lovely.

Little Bird @ Mothercare!!!

CrazyOldBagLady · 15/08/2018 11:32

Also on eBay take a look at Toby Tiger and Little Green Radicals. They don’t seem to be as sought after as Frugi second hand stuff so prices aren’t as crazy.

Powerless · 15/08/2018 11:32

This is a selection of Little Bird I've just seen on Facebook. There is a Little Bird group where people buy & sell. A lot of it is new as well

Sorry me again, Marks and Spencer clothes for boys are usually very nice. The sales are good too.

Aftereights91 · 15/08/2018 11:41

Ooh I'll have to have a look at that Facebook group thank you so much

H&M boys (not babies) range start at age 1.5 - 2 and have soft comfy tracksuit bottoms in a good range of bright colours, we have bright red, blue and green, I think I’ve also seen orange (as well as the ubiquitous grey, black and navy).
For tops Frugi are great but pricey so I buy second hand on FB groups or in the sales, same for JoJo.
I did resort to getting together with some friends and buying multipacks of plain white ASDA vests in assorted sizes and styles and dying them (I had a lot more time on Mat leave!).

Powerless · 15/08/2018 11:46

'Little Bird & Retro Children's Clothing' it's called

BigBlueBubble · 15/08/2018 11:48

I buy a lot of handmade clothes from Etsy shops such as Cotton Barn and My Mama Makes. Lovely patterns and colours!

DrWhy · 15/08/2018 12:22

Oh yes, little birds at Mothercare are good too and Boots are worth keeping an eye out in, often a few bright bits in there too.
