It seems to me that Paul Young has been rather generous.
A person breaks into his home, the items he steals are never replaced - makes you wonder a bit what Gino did with the tapes - flicks fag butts on your bedroom carpet.
When that person then rings him up, he's actually kind to them rather than tell them so get to fuck - which must have gone some way to helping Gino’s career and why a lot of posters don’t actually know the backstory.
Yet when his wife dies, in his grief, he reflects it’s a sadness to him that tapes of her voice - which can’t be replicated ffs, that’s like having your wedding photos redone 12 years later - are lost forever.
Fair play to Gino for rebuilding his life. Silly if he thought Stacy’s death, especially so young, wouldn’t have a terrible impact on Paul. I’m hopeful Gino has made no comment on the Fail article, hope that continues.
