Birthday present for 2 year old niece

Hi all

Im looking for ideas for a birthday present for my niece who is turning 2. Ideally not clothes or books as I've bought those for Christmas and last birthday. And just to complicate matters further, nothing too big or heavy as they live abroad (they are coming to visit so can fit presents in their suitcases).

Thanks!

Colouring book and washable pens.

Some kind of simple paper based craft kit she can do with her parents.

Playmobil set if she's careful with small pieces

Uno junior or snap might also be a good bet. Or we had a great set of cards called 50 things to do on a plane.

AquaDoodle - it comes in quite a big box but fold up when opened. You can get small ones too that would be good on plane journeys.

My daughter was just getting into dollies then. She also loved playdough.

My dd's favourite present from her second birthday was wooden fruit which she could chop with a wooden knife. Melissa & Doug and Wilkos sell them (Wilkos significantly cheaper)

So she's visiting on holiday? Why not stuff she can use as a travel scrapbook?

runwithme · 15/08/2018 08:41

Argh- for some reason I thought she was 8! Scrap that idea!

Another vote for aqua doodle

Thanks everyone. I actually got her an aqua doodle for Christmas! Will have a look at the other suggestions.
