It's grey and miserable here.

Just me and DS(20 months). I'm not sure I'm brave enough to take him to softplay by myself. A whole day indoors will break us both. Debating a lazy morning, nap, lunch and then out for a few hours this afternoon...But what to do?!

Please inspire me Smile what are you doing today?

It's over-cast here too, don't think it will be long before there's rain! This morning DS (11 months) and i are going to Sainsbury's as there's 25% off all TU clothing. This afternoon i'll be taking the dogs for a walk. DS wrapped up in his buggy - me probably getting soaking wet lol

Hello, I'm bringing 8 week old to baby massage class and then to visit my mum after. I might slip upstairs in her house for a quick nap!

Crunchymum · 15/08/2018 08:25

I'll be taking the 5yo, 3yo (and 6 month old). to the park for a few hours run around.

I'll take sandwiches etc so we can have lunch out and I'll take the football and skipping rope and scooters. Need to get them truly worn out.

They have been up until 10pm most nights Shock (although 5yo is still in bed and 3yo only got up at 8am!)

Have paints, colouring books and stickers for later.

11 y/o still asleep, 11month old just gone for nap, I am still in pjs.
We are recovering from an epic 7 hour stint at Bluewater yesterday, so really not doing much at all today!
I might sew name tags on uniforms and nursery clothes just so I feel as though I have achieved something today Confused

I don't know! DD has an injury at the moment so all properly active stuff (soft play, bike riding, etc) is out. We had swimming yesterday and there are no 'just swim' sessions today.
I have a friend coming over later (who has some mobility issues), and DH is working from 5pm til midnight.
The only certainty is tidying up before friend arrives.

Waiting for a delivery of a new mattress this morning. So we (me and dc7,5 & 2) are being a bit lazy..

After lunch I think we will walk down to the wharf to look at the boats and use the play area and I need to pop to the shop.

PurpleMac · 15/08/2018 08:57

Daisy ooh there's a Sainsbury's in a lovely little shopping centre near me, might have to pop in this afternoon! My aunt works there too so my dad might even come with.

Sounds like some lovely plans you all have! I can't decide if I prefer this weather to the heatwave or not...

Taking my almost 4yo and 15mo old to pyo fruit. Hoping there are some blackberries left as when asked what he would like to do today 4yo specifically said 'blackberry picking'. Totally out of the blue. Kids are weird. I wonder how their minds work I really do.

ApolloandDaphne · 15/08/2018 08:59

I am going to the physio to have my sore knee made sorer (but i know it will help in the long run).

Then i am going to my Homestart family to play with small children to allow the mum to have a break. It is my favourite 3 hours in my week!

PurpleMac · 15/08/2018 09:00

deadhead we had a similar stint at Lakeside on Monday, it exhausted me and my credit card Wink

Having new carpets put down on the stairs, landing and 2 bedrooms. I still have to pull up the carpet in our room and get cash to pay the fitters.

Ds1 is going to football club so I have to entertain dd and ds2. We can't get to any of their toys or craft supplies because most of the bedroom furniture is in the living room and DDS room. We might make some cakes and play outside.
