I need lazy person breakfast ideas that aren’t toast or cereal and with minimal prep (especially prep in advance).

What do you eat?

This is a mix of things my family eat:
Banana, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries, mango, bagels with smoked salmon and cream cheese, porridge, eggy bread, fried egg and bacon or sausages, poached egg and black pudding, scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, greek yogurt and honey, fruit juice, pain au chocolat. Not all at once!

An apple and a black coffee. Eaten in childfree silence at work. It’s a blissful ten mins.

Eggs - scrambled, boiled etc. Or you can make omelette/frittata/"muffins" beforehand and reheat.

Sometimes a vegetarian sausage or potato waffle.

Oatcakes and cheese.

Occasionally a pain au chocolat or croissant.

Or leftovers from dinner.

I usually have either overnight oats (I make a few days worth at once in individual pots), or porridge (again, I prepare in advance so it's soaked overnight in the fridge & ready to cook).

tldr mine are as basic as they get really- I use a scoop of unflavoured pea & hemp protein (prefer it to whey), a spoonful of almond butter or peanut butter, and almond milk. Most of the time I throw chia or flaxseeds in as well.

You could sweeten it up with banana I guess. DH likes the flavoured shake mixes but I don't like the artificial sweetener taste.

corn thins with peanut butter and banana. i gave up sugar last year and can't eat dairy so started trying different things - actually really like this and find it v filling. it's easier to do in the house but i have just turned the corn thins into a sandwich and eaten with the banana in my hand if travelling.

Scrambled eggs with spinach

Overnight oats with berries

Rye toast with whole earth peanut butter

Omelette if it's brunch

And I should say, he thinks my shakes are revolting too Grin

Thanks noel. I’m probably on Team NoelDH tbh. 😀

Thanks everyone. I’m liking the sound of some of these.
