CIPD question please

I recently left my current role which was part HR and part accounts based. The HR part was quite specific.

I’m thinking of paying to complete CIPD level 5 but am unsure if I should do Certificate or Diploma.
I’m currently not working and would like some advice on studying it without a job. Is it worth doing? Will I struggle if I’m not doing an HR role?
Any advice on which provider? How quickly can I complete it?

Thanks

Hi, we're moving this thread over to our Chat topic at the OP's request.

I'm planning to start soon, but from my research jobs ads in HR seem to just want a qualification, so the certificate should be fine. It is sufficient for full CIpd membership. (And all my local college offers...)
