3 year old fell and chipped molars

Help, I am freaking out.

My nearly 4 year old had a tumble at the park today. We didn't notice until dp brushed her teeth that two molars (same side, one on top and one lower) have broken. Some of both teeth have chipped off.

She had only started complaining of tooth pain at dinner time, which was several hours after the tumble.

We'll call the dentist first thing tomorrow but can anyone tell me what the implications might be? The teeth seem intact other than that, and there was no blood.

If the edges are sharp the dentist can file it down. I’d imagine it won’t be too much probably though as the teeth will be milk molars.

Thanks. She said her teeth felt "bumpy."
