Book of Mormon or Phantom? What to see?

I've got an opportunity to see one out of The Book of Mormon or The Phantom of the Opera. Obviously completely different, but has anyone seen both and which is better? Or, if you had the choice, which would you go to?

Both are very good at what they do, but I’d go for BoM; some big laughs and some jaw-dropping moments.

I think I would go for phantom you have the see it on stage at least once the staging is incredible

Book of Mormon is great, although the second half isn’t as strong as the first IMO.

I generally detest Lloyd Webber but if you’re going to see one, Phantom is the one to see.

Depends on what you prefer I guess.

Both are fabulous in different ways.
Phantom is a theatre classic and there’s a good reason why it’s been going for donkeys years.
BoM is new and fresh and risky and fabulously outrageous and funny.
Both are worth seeing and hard to choose between.

Sounds like both are fabulous!
Inclined to go with BoM for this one as I'm by myself and go to Phantom next time I'm with DD (age 15 - we are massive Les Mis fans so that might work well)
