8 month old gone off milk

My DD has recently gone off her milk. She has got a tooth coming through which didn't effect her feeds with other teeth. She has 3 meals a day and is getting plenty of food but I'm worried about her fluid intake. She used to be on around 800ml a day but for the last few days has only managed 300ml. She's struggling to go to sleep aswell. Could it just be her teeth? What is the least amount of liquid she can drink without me having to worry?? Anyone had the same problem?

My DD completely gave up milk at 10mo - not even a bit at bedtime. As long as your DD has enough water during the day and fruit/veg (with water content) I wouldn’t worry too much.

Teething can reaallly affect sleep - I used a mixture of calpol and teething granuals to help. DS didn’t sleep through until last tooth came at 2.4years Hmm

It may be just a phase though??!....

So not what I thought the thread would be about!

Teething can be the seventh level of hell! Calpol all the way!
However I wouldn't worry about the lack of milk. Two of mine dropped milk pretty much the minute they started eating food. One drank a diluted baby granule drink, the other very very diluted pineapple juice (not ideal but that's all she'd drink). Both have survived fine and the juice drinker is now 24 and has never needed a filling so her teeth survived too!

Mine dropped having milk as a drink earlier than that though did have it with cereal. Eating well so no problem. Don't worry, it's normal.
