Hi all. I divorced my son's father earlier this year but even before I wanted to leave I've had trouble with him being disrespectful of my parenting (which is like most other parents I know).
I have had trouble with trying to get through to him that allowing our son to watch horror parodies and other violent stuff is wrong. I believe it's affecting his sleep and his behaviour.
His father is a lot older than me and he has narcissistic qualities which means he believes his style of parenting is superior to mine. He did stop allowing him to watch it about a year ago but obviously has started doing it again as my son mentioned seeing Pennywise on you tube and proceeded to tell me the beginning of the story.
Amongst all the other issues I have with his undermining, calling me stupid in front of his son etc. I have another thing to contend with.
I'm fed up!
Any words of advice to maybe word things the right way with him would be useful!
