Blind man's buff - did you play it?

It used to be the children's game, not just for parties, mentioned in kids' stories through the decades (since Victorian times at least). Did you play it, or was it considered too dangerous or too frivolous? Also, would you encourage your DCs to play it?

I only remember playing it once: during a dull moment on a school trip; we needed to keep warm while waiting for somebody to pick us up, and most of us were wearing scarves, so we seized the moment. We were 18 years old!

I absolutely loved this game! Thankfully we played it nicely and would make a noise before someone was going to walk into something that could really hurt them, I used to play it with friends and cousins around the age of 10

Isn’t it blind man’s bluff?

And yes, I loved it. Perfect game for parties growing up along with musical bumps and musical statues.

@BeyondMyThoughts I think it's called Blind Man's Bluff in USA. But what happens if one person gets "stuck" for ages? If they're blindfolded and can't find anybody because the others are too good at dodging, or they don't identify the one they catch? Also, how did you choose who would be blindfolded first?
