Today, for the ubteenth time, I have used a tip given to me years ago by a washing machine engineer who I had called because my machine wasn´t draining properly.
He told me that this type of problem is often solved if you open the little flap at the bottom of the machine, unscrew the cap you see there and check that the blades behind it are moving properly and are not blocked with anything like hairclips etc.
You need to spread out a towel before unscrewing the thing as water will gush out.
Maybe everyone knows this, but I am always absurdly happy to be able to solve this little problem for myself.
Does anyone else knew about anything similar they could share?
