Can I put random pictures on my Instagram or is it only for photos I have taken myself?

Basically I want to free up space in my phone storage so can I put everything on Instagram? I'm not using it for commercial use or anything, it's my own private personal account. These are mostly random images I've come across in the internet and saved, for example from the BBC readers picures on a theme, Google images, memes, screenshots of things on publically available pages, that kind of thing. I want to keep them but don't have space to keep them on my phone.

Can you not use OneDrive or Google Drive or something? I don't think it's usual to use Instagram for storage, but in theory you can post any photo.

Google Photos is the best for this. So easy too.

Basically you can put what ever you bloody like on instgram, many many people put all sorts of rubbish/copywrited/freebooted/memes/quotes/commercial picture.

However i do agree with every one else its not the best method of what your trying to achieve. Its not really a storage option, something like googlephoto/one drive or a speciic photo storing site flickr/photobucket (i actally dont think either of those exist any more) or something similar is better.
