UK? Abroad (doggie though!) Hotel, self catering? Travel by car, bus, train?

Nipping out now so someone else will be along I'm sure.

Scarborough, Southport and Whitby are all very dog friendly , with dogs been allowed in about 80 % of the pubs and 15% of the restaurant on or near the main front .

All travel lodges ( except a few in London) allow dogs in at about £10 per stay .

If you are going to book into a Britannia hotel make sure you become a member ( free ) every time you spend any £ in there keep your receipt and ask for points to be added to your card at the end of your stay ( £1 = 1 point ) use this as a discount next time you book .

I also know some good dog friendly camp sites if you like that kind of thing .

Thanks for suggestions, we would be looking UK based, ideally self catering and not a hotel, and somewhere child and dog friendly!

Hmm camping / renting a caravan sounds like it may suit you .
Rippon & Harrogate have some good sites , I use to go in a tent with my dogs but I think they rent static vans , not sure if they allow dogs but it's worth a try
