Cards from your wedding

Just wondering what people did with theirs. Ours are in a bag in the spare room. My DH said maybe we should move to the loft. I’m having a tidy up and the thought has crossed my mind to bin them. I’m not a hugely sentimental person and we also have a guest book which we are definitely keeping.

We only got about ten cards so have kept them! Also wedding dress hangs outside the wardrobe so I can see it and remember our lovely day!(3 years ago!)

Ours have gone in the loft. I guess you don't have to keep them, but we found MIL's wedding stuff when helping her clear out and it was lovely. She could see her table plan, who had come etc.

If you plan on having kids or already do they may want to see them some day. You could put them in an album along with wedding pictures.

Ours are all in a bag-for-life in the attic. I'd hate to bin them; but you're right - not really sure what to "do" with them.

I guess we're just delegating - future generations will have the job of attic clearance and binning them when we are gone!

In a folder starting with engagement cards and ending with 'new baby' cards which always tickled me as we swore blind we never wanted a child my wedding dress gets pulled out occasionally for a wee bit of dress up where I may or may not be an evil monarch who has kidnapped a stuffed toy

My plan is to get a scrapbook and put them in with all the other bits. We've been married 7 years and haven't quite got round to it yet!
