Does anybody have this toy?

Right, time to be a cheeky fucker and beg... DD(5) lost her snow leopard soft toy recently, and I'm desperately trying to replace it - does anyone here have one?

It's a Ravensden snow leopard, about 35cm from nose to base of tail. It has its eyes open, and is a lying down leopard. We bought it from Twycross zoo about 5 years ago (on dd's first birthday).

I have scoured and scoured absolutely everywhere I can think of, but can't find the exact one to replace it - if anyone could help me it would be absolutely amazing!

Does anybody have this toy?

The second one is too small, and the first is the same but it's asleep. I can probably get away with a slightly different pattern, but I don't think I can come up with why it's lost its eyes! Shock

I have honestly tried everywhere I can think (all the selling sites, as well as directly with Ravensden) - I'm currently at the stage of checking toy bundle pictures to see if there's any there!

Sorry for the huge link! I didn't notice the difference between the eyes.
Is there any chance of her original leopard being found/Do you know where it was lost?

justkeepknitting we lost it in Great Yarmouth. Everyone I've contacted to see if they had it were lovely and really tried their best, but no joy in finding it unfortunately. I think some other child must have picked it up and taken it home.

Have you phoned the Twycross Zoo shop in case they have any old stock?

Could you buy the asleep one and replace the eyes. Amazon and sewing shops sell eyes, they are generally on stems so you will need to unpick the seam by its nose and do an eye transplant- sounds tricky but pretty minor surgery for a toy snow leopard!

sparklebag I know I posted before, which is why this is in a different board and at a different time. I know a large portion of mnetters don't go to Aibu, so I thought I'd try chat instead just in case the right person saw it.

Interesting thought about the eyes - it might look a bit Frankenstein's monster after I've had my mitts on it, but it's worth an explore...

I would be happy to do an eye transplant if you want to give it a go, if you know someone local who can sew a bit it really isn't tricky, but if not let me know.
