Madonna, still sexy at sixty???

Just seen that heading (minus the ???) on the front of a Sunday magazine. Is she sexy? What is the meaning of sexy. I think she looks as though, she is trying too hard to look youthful, and failing miserably.

Madonna was always "in your face" why wold you think thats going to change.Shes not going to mellow.And i love her for it.

She made it easier for the female stars of today to do what they want.Shes now doing the same about ageism.

She clawed her way to the top,wasnt handed to her..And more important she hasnt fell from her top spot;

She is the 2nd biggest selling act of all time,[after The Beatles] and teh biggest selling female artist and solo touring artist.

She didnt get that by resting on her laurels.That took hard work,determination and balls.

And now she is getting it because she dares to grow old and not act like it.Well good for her.

I think I read a Madonna quote saying regarding ageism, that she is taking the shit now so young women in the future don’t have to and boy does Madonna take some shit.

Of course she does. That's what she built her career on! Her M.O. was nothing more than being outrageous and getting people to talk about her. It didn't matter what she did (hence all the change in direction) as long as people talked about her.

For someone who can't sing she's done well for herself.

Her controversies have all been her career,she didnt have the downfall of Whitney or MJ.

Madonna is not by cup of tea on the sexually attractive stakes but I think this idea that women as past it by a certain age is utterly ridiculous.

Women I find blindingly attractive as well as sexy tend to be older than the typical idea that women in their twenties look more attractive. I have a few favourites but one lady who comes to mind is the lovely Alex Polizzi :)

She doesn't look like she did 20 years ago, no Woman does, well no white Woman. We generally don't change as people. It's often said that it's the person who is sexy, rather than how they look. Unless you are in to the blow up doll look, then you'll only find people sexy in a very narrow age-range and physical features. As some Men demonstrate. So how can you stop being sexy?

Just looking at pictures of her birthday in Morocco. No celebs there at all.Ive been a fan since i first saw her on The Tube in 84 and yet i dont know that much about her. Theres no real scandals and she keeps her family and friends close. The dc arent spoilt by all accounts and theyve managed to grow up out of the spotlight to an extent. My gbf said the the A listers have never liked her. I never knew that.

We watched her Rebel Heart tour on tv last night. She was good and her face has certainly had a freshen up but her movements were so stiff. She was dancing and giving it her all but you can definitely tell she's older..
