Moving house - what condition to leave things?

I of course will be cleaning my way out of the house as I go. However what to do about other bits? Im taking pictures down and polyfillering the holes and touching up etc but there is some furniture screwed to the wall (wardrobes kids storage etc) which I dont want to unscrew until moving day. So do I fill the holes there and then? Then repaint when?

Or is it best to leave a tube of polyfiller and some paint with a note explaining these were only unscrewed on the day of moving?

I've never moved into anywhere where they've polyfillered the holes or painted over.

I’d leave the Polyfilla and some paint for your buyers; you’ll have enough to do on moving day without faffing about filling holes!

Pollyfilla takes minutes. If you’ve got removals I’d do that if you can.

I would just leave the holes tbh. Surely random (small!) holes in the wall is to be expected once you move into somewhere?

If you've got a tin of matching paint left over from when the walls were painted then it's kind to leave it otherwise it can be hard to touch up with a good match, but that's all I would expect.

Ok I will leave filla and paint. There was a gallery wall in two rooms so Ill do the filling and painting from them, but not worry about the random ones from wardrobes and the odd pic in other rooms.
