Looking for mattress reccomendations please!

Not a huge budget... probably max £500 for a double.

DP wants one of the Premier Inn mattresses... has anybody got one of those? Or one of the new fangled mattress in a box types?

Thanks!

I don't have one, but would get one, I love premier Inn beds!

I'd spend as much as you can on one, you'll spend 6-8 hours a night on it for 8-10 years!

We've just got an Eve mattress. It's really good.
I was pushing for the premier inn one, but the Eve one was cheap on Amazon prime day.

We have a Premier Inn one and were delighted with it at first, but it's developed a dip on each side. Also, my OH has rolled off the bed a couple of times when he's been lying near the edge, because the edges are quite soft.

I’ve got an Eve. I trialled the Casper but ended up with the Eve.
You can get a refurbished Eve on Wowcher for under your budget but you don’t get the 100 day trial.

IKEA. The pocket sprung ones are supposed to be better. I have the Hamarvik
which I'm happy with but the Hovag gets the good reviews.

I was told to avoid memory foam layers as they get quite sweaty. Whether or not this is true I don't know.

The IKEA ones come rolled to fit in the car and they have a 25 year guarantee (!) if you retain your proof of purchase.

I had the Casper, and then swapped to the Eve during the recent heatwave.
The Eve was much cooler.

Three votes for the Eve... I feel like the cooling layer is moot since I'll have my electric blanket on top though?

I have a code for the Eve, a refer a friend thing, I think it gives you a free set of linen bed sheets. I’ll be very jealous, I covet a set of them.
PM me your email address if you want it.
