Reading Festival tips

DS and friends are off to Reading Festival. I last went in 1978 so I'm a bit out of touch!
He has a cheap tent and a rucksack. He also has a bum bag. I plan to send him off with baby wipes and loo rolls.
I'm appealing to the Mumsnet collective for tips and hints please, what else will he need?

Beer and wellies! A cheap awning is good so he can put it between his mates tents to sit under if it rains.
