Hi,

So had hair highlighted last week and is a average blonde with some platinum streaks and some more caramel tones.

Hairdresser advised to use purple / silver shampoo to neutralise any brassy tones so have used it every other day since.

Anyway. Washed it this morning and there are some greeny/ purpley bits , assuming where my hair is porous and it's absorbed the purple shampoo.

I really don't fancy looking like grot bags so -WWYD?

Wash with normal shampoo in the hope it will wash out or panic?!!!!! Help!

Which purple shampoo is it? Maybe you are using it too often

Yes regular shampoo it out.

You do not need to use purple shampoo every other day!!

Every 4th or 5th wash is fine but you can simply look in the mirror and see when your hair is looking to yellowy and know you need to use it next shampoo. Leave it on say 3 mins and rinse out, then condition well.

I have platinum hair. I use L''Oreal Professional Purple shampoo; it's better than the Touch of Silver Provoke one.

Thank you- hairdresser said it was fine to use everyday - what a traitor!

It's the catwalk one so will definitely cut down the frequency- fingers crossed a normal shampoo gets it out!
