Why would anyone need to have a shelf above a toilet roll? What you anyone put there - a cup of tea? Biscuits? A vase of flowers? Ridiculous

I think it’s great. Somewhere to put your phone when you’re ready to use the loo roll.

I like it, it's handy for plants and bottles of beer......or for storing used toilet roll tubes

I quite like it in a weird way, especially in a smaller or minimalist bathroom. Just put the moist toilet tissue, toilet spray and maybe even a spare pad on there (if it was in use by visitors).

Think it makes it look much nicer. Could sit an air freshener on it 😂

Sorry, @AnnieOH1 I sniggered a bit at your suggestion- I really don't need a decorative shelf for any of the items you suggested, especially if in use by visitors! They'd think I was bonkers

A shelf with a loo roll underneath would be fine. That is a loo roll with a shelf on top which is somehow not ok.

I really like it, looks nicer than a normal toilet roll holder

I don't hate it but it's a bit of a weird height to have a shelf. Having said that my young kids use moist toilet wipes and that would be perfect to put them on...

I think it's quite practical for storing things loo related. I think using it to hold a plant is odd...
