I used to work with a lovely woman who suffers badly with anxiety and was struggling a lot when I last saw her a month ago.
We don't work together any more as I've started a new job.
I'd like to stay in touch to be able to give her some support and because she's a lovely person but I don't know whether she'd welcome this or not. She used to email me funny stories and things but has stopped now, this could be because she doesn't want to keep in touch or it could be because she's having such a hard time.

WWYD?

Tell her you were thinking of her by whatever means... Send her silly stories instead. No one can have enough friends. It takes 5 minutes and will mean a lot if she’s struggling. If not, there’s no harm done!

I've sent her a few jokes, she hasn't replied so I'll move on. Hopefully she's ok.
