Ds1's car seat didn't fit our out n about for ds2 (newborn) so we got a maxi cosi pebble.
We now find we are using the pebble all the time (2 cars) as we invariably need to use it with the out n about.
Didn't get an iso fix base as trying to save money (!!) - mainly Dh wanting this.
However, baby hates car journeys at the mo and I also find fiddling with the strap a bit of a pain plus the angle is rubbish for my target crap lower back.
I've seen a second hand easybase (not iso fix) for a reasonable amount of money.
Do I: persevere with car seat and strap, un plugging every time and hoping baby will get used to it.
Get this base - are second hand bases, and seat belt bases safe?
Fuck it and fork out 130 quid for an iso fix base.
Baby is on 91st centile - I'm trying to work out how long he'll feasibly use it for!
