We were meant to be going on a bike ride today with dh and inlaws- due to weather we called last night and said can we rethink and maybe do something else like national trust where we can go in and out of house if weathers bad-
They didn't want to do this so said we should cancel- we offered for them to come here for a meal again no that's fine.
They then call dh back later in evening saying how much they miss him and haven't seen him recently (we tend to see them every 4-6 weeks and it's now been 6)
Again he offered for them to come here - no - and they said maybe we could do the bike ride one evening after work next week as they couldn't wait till next weekend (we have cancelled our plans next Sunday so we can see them) -
Is this a bit strange or is it just me?! Why not come today to us or we could meet them somewhere a bit more indoor?
