NDN is leaning heavy things on our new fence panels which we put up just a few months ago. They are bulging inwards because of the things he’s leaned against them and wedged in, bricks etc I think. One fence panel is fixed to a wooden baton and a couple of screws have already come off one side at the top, the bottom is holding on, for now. We don’t speak because of an argument he started and we tried to be amicable to avoid any dispute but we can’t stand his bullying ways. He’s done other obnoxious things, shouting, and caused no end of stress.
Anyway, should we tell him to stop putting pressure on the fence panels which are really bulging, they don’t move at all because he’s wedged them, or just repair them when they do eventually come flying off to avoid confrontation? We need to pay someone to repair/strengthen this panel that has partially come off already so I’m pissed off. I really want to get a solicitor to write to him to warn him he is damaging property but worried about fallout. We can’t move just yet so that isn’t an option. Wwyd?
