WWYD about this unwanted interference

So DD does quite a full on activity, we've just moved to a new setting and one of the other girls has commented on her technique - which has upset DD - I've suggested that it isn't useful for the girls to comment uninvited on each others techniques but to leave that to the coaches - the girl understood she had been thoughtless, apologised - drama over ... or not.

The coach has decided to get involved and say the girl was just explaining her style of coaching - wtf - she wasn't there and didn't hear the comment, so is just saying DD is lying - then she told me she didn't want a bad atmosphere, like I was a trouble maker.

I don't understand why people do this, it's got nothing to do with her - I'm hopeless though, just smiled and said oh right, OK - teach me mumsnetters - how do I handle this unwanted interference? I need some good one liners as I'm sure this is going to happen again!

Think you have just found out who the coaches pet pupil is

Readyfortheschoolhols · 24/07/2018 12:12

Fottfeofafosm is your one liner.
Then find a nice coach elsewhere.

GreenTulips · 24/07/2018 12:15

How old are they

gargleblaster · 24/07/2018 12:20

11/12 years old

readyfortheschoolhols - we all know where you're coming from but that isn't going to help the situation, is it?

That's disappointing I've been lurking on Mumsnet for ages and thought I'd get some corkers! I think you're spot on pathetic - thanks all!
