I started Depo injections in February. First three months seemed fine, a little spotting but otherwise ok. I had my second injection back in May and was ok until about 3 weeks ago when I started bleeding and haven't stopped. It's starting to get me down, I'm so fed up of it. Last time I went to the clinic they encouraged me to get the implant instead of the injection and I'm wondering if I should have taken that option.
Thing is we go away in 3 weeks to a place with swimming pools and I can't use tampons so need to be bleed free - the kids will want me to go in the pool with them.
I am due the injection whilst away so I am planning to go the week before to get it a week early. For the last 2 injections I have been bleed free for at least the first 6 weeks. Do I get the injection again and hope it's the same or risk changing to the implant? Has anybody changed and found things better? WWYD
