So sick of being on my own. Divorced, one daughter who's 10 and shared custody. Wrong side of 40 and work full time. I've tried OLD and having zero luck. Where do people meet people??????

If you've really given OLD a serious try and had zero luck you may be doing it less than optimally. Pay a professional photographer to take some flattering pictures of you. Get a male friend or relative to read your standard profile write up and give you some feedback. There may be something off putting about it to men that you aren't aware of.

It takes time and a lot of effort to meet people through OLD but it can be done. I met DH in my late 30's on match.com.

Try expanding your in person contacts too. Can you join a church, activity group, take a class at night, etc.?

Which OLD sites did you use? Some a very hit n miss and others good. I met my OH on POF 5 years ago after being online for 6-7 months we had both had some disastrous dates but when we met each other something clicked. We are both well the wrong side of 40 I had one daughter and he had 2
