Please help me this is the first time I've wrote on here so hoping this sounds ok I have a 12 year old daughter and last night I saw something on her phone that looked a bit strange anyway I ask her for her phone and she kicked off big time so obviously something to hide after 2 hrs of trying to get her phone I got it told her to remove p/w other wise I'm taking her to the police anyway so I check all through her phone and the stuff I found wasn't nice and I'm broken hearted she's been saying that she's taking pills which she hasn't she says she under eats which she doesn't and lots of things around she shouldn't be here she's gay and has feelings for girls do they really know at 12 ? Is she attention seeking does she really like girls ? I am not sure how to deal with this at all I have 2 older boys who obviously are not as dramatic as girls .... Please any advice will be greatly recieved

She has been saying this to who?
What is your biggest concern here, that she is gay? I assume she is going through puberty?

P.s she won’t confide in you or tell you anything if you have her kick off and spend 2 hours trying to invade her privacy.. not a good position to be in

Firstly she is 12 years old she is talking to people over the internet Not friends parents obviously check there children's phones !!

P.s I don't care if she is gay but can you really tell at 12 ?? Plus no what is more concerning is that 1 she says she plans to take her own life 2 she's been going through pubity since the age of 9 and she's talking to strangers

Then I think a long chat about how she is really feeling and why is in order, perhaps a trip to the doctors if she really feels suicidal?
If she feels attracted to females at 12 then yes she could be gay. She could also be straight and confused who knows.

But take the phone away altogether
