Phobia of clothes moths

Hello,
I have a huge fear of clothes moths. I feel the worst sinking feeling when I see one on my bedroom wall. I am only twelve years old and I'm male. I shouldn't be on this but I was interested what a different parent would do.

I tend to see a few a day, and normally in the bedrooms. However, we can't find any larva, or holes. I have hoovered my room and cleaned out the wardrobe, but all I found was one dead moth. My parents are skeptical and say they have been around since we moved in, which is a blatant lie, and all they will do is purchase a few moth balls which, according to what I have read, do nothing. I know their numbers will rise but my parents don't believe me. Am I overreacting or is this a problem which must be eliminated before it escalates?

Thanks.
