HI advice needed

since moving in to our new home 3 years ago our family have been bullied/harassed nearly everyday, its 2 neighbours that have literally been so vile from the time the removal van turned up. Its got so bad they stopped other neighbours even acknowledging us, even neighbours that have moved in after us have only said hello once then now nothing. These neighbour's say we dont belong here because we work they even bully our children and have stop any other children playing with ours at all, our youngest cries because they want to play out but have noone to play with, its very depressing and i literally cant take much more from these bullys. We cant move either.

That sounds awful. Sorry OP. Bullying your children is unacceptable.

Any chance they'll move?

Could you try to talk to your other neighbours again and make friends with them?

What a horrible situation!

Maybe your neighbours are not actually as powerful as you (and probably they) think - for example, how can they stop other neighbours acknowledging you?

It's very upsetting for your children. Do they go to the same school as your neighbours' children? If so, could you have a quiet word with their teacher, to ask them to watch out for any signs of bullying, and to try to strengthen the relationship between them, eg by putting them in the same groups for project work, etc?

Could you occasionally invite your friends from where you used to live, to show that you do have friends who value you and your family? If your new neighbours' children are hanging around, invite them in to play?

I know these suggestions might not be relevant to your situation, but I suppose my main message is don't think you are completely powerless. Maybe there is something you can do?

Good luck.
