Hey alll,

So back last week I feel over and hurt me knee quite badly, I have got a massive carpit burn over my knee. Even after a week it still throbbing, it's scabbed up, but last night it kept me up as it was that painful.

I find it hard to move that leg, as it hurts, during the first few days after falling over I had to jump up the stairs due to me not being able to bend my leg as it hurt so much.

I would like to also mention that I am quite low in iron and I take iron tablets to cover that.

I'm not sure if it's worth going to the doctors as I feel like it would be wasting their time. Would love to hear a response ASAP! THank you for reading x

If it's throbbing, I'd see your GP - the wound might be infected.

You have a scabbed knee, ask someone to kiss it better...

What do you want them to do? In all likelihood there’s nothing for them to do expect tell you to watch and wait and tell you that these things take time to get better, especially if you’ve yanked a ligament.

It’s nust grazed, please don’t waste the NHS’s time

Oh and have some iron supplements and more vit C so you can process them.

The fact that you haven't been moving it properly hasn't helped. As you've been jumping stairs rather than deal with the pain means your muscles have seized up which is now causing more pain.
Plenty of exercise and bending of the knee will help.
