Inappropriate behaviour from boss's husband

I was at an event tonight, where my husband's boss came with her extended family. I met her husband for the first time earlier in the evening. I was passing their table in the restaurant when this man grabbed me and said I'm supposed to give you a big hug, and I'm supposed to give you a hickey on your neck. This in front of his family!! but the band was very loud so I don't know what they thought/saw. I made a joke and got away from him and left with my DD. I still feel gross about his mouth having been on my neck, albeit briefly. My husband is still there, I don't know if I should text him to explain or wait till he gets home, or say nothing. And I don't know what I should say to his boss (who is also my boss, for the time being). It was a social event, not a work do. Advice, please.

Pretend it didn't happen. Carry hand sanitiser in your bag next time and get it out ready-and tell him you need to use it if he touches you.

Thanks April. Just brushing it off was my first instinct, but I feel weird about my OH interacting with this drunk buffoon. I told my DD that someone had made me feel uncomfortable, and that you never have to stay in a situation like that, it's OK to just get out.

If you do choose to brush it off, write an email to yourself with this story and keep it safe. Just in case.
