We don't have much money but hubby only got me a card not even a bar of chocolate very upset he can afford 25 pounds for computer crap but not me do I voice it!

What are birthdays normally like? If you've never said you like a fuss made (not that a chocolate bar is a fuss) then he might think a card is enough. Perhaps he's heard you worrying about your outgoings - complaining about his spending £25 on computer shit - and thought you wouldn't want money "wasted" on you.

COMMUNICATING. So yes, talk to him when you can do so levelly. Or tell him to get his arse off the sofa to the 24h garage for a bar of Dairy Milk.
