I'm 30 if that makes any difference?

Its a nice shape but i wouldnt wear these colours for a wedding personally....

JesusTapdancingChrist · 28/04/2018 23:49

I really don't like the colours or the pattern and find it generally quite frumpy especially for someone who's only 30.

MadMags · 28/04/2018 23:51

It’s horrible! Sorry.

Lol I knew there was a reason I posted here, I've spent so long looking I've lost sight of what's decent!

Everything just seems so tarty though urgh.

It is a no from me as well, I think it would be great for a summer casual event but not for a wedding.

MrsICantSayMyName · 29/04/2018 00:11

A nice midi dress in spring colours will go down well not tarty but still modest

MadamGrumps · 29/04/2018 00:13

Can a 14-16 pull off this style do u think? I would never normally any dress that meant a strapless bra but I'm thinking I'm desperate!

I wouldn’t recommend it with boobs and a belly, tbh! Not least because you won’t feel comfortable!

IAmALionTamer · 29/04/2018 00:18

Not sure on either of those to be honest. What is your budget? People on style and beauty are great at suggesting outfits

moofeatures · 29/04/2018 00:19

I prefer the 2nd one Smile

gggrrrargh · 29/04/2018 00:21

I really like the first dress actually, it's pretty and also comfortable. I think the colour is fine too. I am 34 and would wear that to a wedding.

not keen on the second dress looks uncomfortable.

MadamGrumps · 29/04/2018 00:24

Oh god I'm so out of touch!

Thank you I shall start again, my budget is as low as poss as I won't be wearing it again! I just want to make an effort as it's a wedding on dh's side and I don't want to feel like I do day to day. It's hard though BlushSad

I think I like the first one as the belt reminds me of the polo game in pretty woman! Grin

AlpacaLypse · 29/04/2018 00:26

I like no 1!

Shedmicehugh1 · 29/04/2018 00:27

I prefer the first. Something lighter in colour maybe?

MadamGrumps · 29/04/2018 00:31

What about a nude bag and shoes with the first to lighten it up?

MadamGrumps · 29/04/2018 00:33

Sorry x posted, it's a bit too boofy for me..not sure if that's a word..

OP posts:
SadSongsAndWaltzes · 29/04/2018 00:36

No problem - I think it's a perfectly good word!

Shedmicehugh1 · 29/04/2018 00:50

Yes nude bag and shoes would look nice. I quite like the dress

Shedmicehugh1 · 29/04/2018 00:51

2nd dress is too booby and tight!

MadamGrumps · 29/04/2018 00:52

Could wear a bra with this one?

Could take the belt off and replace with a thin dressier one instead?

ThereAreTooMany · 29/04/2018 00:53

I like the first dress.

Ofspartacus · 29/04/2018 00:55

Try Lindybop? Good value for money and flattering shapes for boobs and tums.
