Basically my husband is saying that he’s friends with my sister on Facebook.

I’m not friends with my sister, but have no problem with him being friends with her.
However when I click on my sisters profile under mutual friends it is not showing my husband. He’s not home right now so can’t check myself, but he says when he clicks on my sister it shows as “friends” and not “add friend”

I have also clicked on my husbands profile and it is not showing him being friends with my sister, but he’s got his friends set to private so I can only see his mutual friends anyway.
Basically when I click on my sisters profile it shows we have 22 mutual friends, but my husband is not one of them. But he’s insisting she’s showing as a friend on his profile. Why would this be?
If I click on other friends we both have then it shows my husband as a mutual friend as it should.
I know it’s not a big issue in the scheme of things, I’m just curious.

Think I’ve just worked it out via google.
If someone has their friends list hidden, and their friend has their friends list hidden, then they won’t show as mutual friends apparently, even though they are friends.
Interesting.
