Coast dress- summer coastal wedding

Tempted by this but worried it will swamp me at 5'5"- also does anyone know if these styles actually stay up or will it just drop off my shoulders?

I like it. I am not sure if the colour will suit many people though - is it good on you?

Only way to find out if it swamps you it is to try it on, give it a try!

I like it, again it depends on your skin tone. If you are a corned beef colour like me then I'd say no! I've also got wonky shoulders so am no help where that's concerned although those styles usually have tight elastic across the top so it should stay up.

I think it's too bridal for a guest.

No I'm not the bride- it's lemon yellow in colour, a pale yellow. It's under "wedding guest dresses" on the Coast website.

It's totally fine, actually quite nice compared to most wedding guest stuff! Though maybe get it taken up slightly so it doesn't swamp you, and wear wooden wedge heels with blue and white tickling stripe straps, and get a spray tan.

I don't like the shape and the colour is very pale for a wedding guest.

You'll only know by going and trying on it, and then walking about and prancing about to see if it falls down

It is quite a tricky style to pull off and so many variables about your figure will dictate whether it suits or not.

Would note that I wore a similar style to a ball once and you have to dance like a t-Rex as you can't lift your arms up 🦖

Other than that it's very pretty and fine for a wedding - it's very clearly yellow not white, not sure why people aren't seeing that.

It’s a beautiful dress. Are you tanned/olive skinned/black skinned? It might be hard to pull off that tone otherwise. I’m pale and I know it would look dreadful on me. Sorry. You are a grown up and probably know which colours suit you by now! Enjoy the wedding!

Definitely suitable as a beach/coastal wedding guest dress, it's lovely. Try it on to see if it suits you (colouring, fit etc), and don't forget to practise dancing in it! If you're still worried, buy some "tit tape" from Boots. If you're worried the colour doesn't suit your skin tone, get a spray tan a few days before trying it on

It's a hard style to pull off and it's going to date very quickly. The colour looks too pale. For a beach wedding a couple of weeks ago I wore this coast dress.
