Would you wear these? M&S shoes

Would you wear these shoes? Or are my poor sore feet warping the way my mind works?

I’m fed up of having lovely evenings out, only to suffer the painful balls of feet that even a small heel causes me.

I’ve always dismissed Marks & Sparks for clothes and shoes, but these look elegant and so comfortable.

If you have ever had a pair similar I’d love to know if they are comfy.

Hell no.

Unless I was a 70 year old nan.

elQuintoConyo · 06/04/2018 20:46

Yes, i would. They look very comfy.

But i rarely venture on the s&b board, so you may like to take my opinion with a pinch of salt Grin

My daughter said they are ugly, I’m only 55 but my job involves hours of standing about, but I need to ‘dress to impress’ , cocktail dresses, evening dresses type of outfits, (red carpet events).

Thanks @DragonMamma. You agree with my daughter, I did wonder if I was losing the plot with these.

I think they're fine for what you want them for.

DonkeyOil · 06/04/2018 21:17

I have to be honest, I wouldn't. The front is lovely, but doesn't really go with the heel, which I don't like at all.

halfwitpicker · 06/04/2018 21:17

They look fine to me. I'd wear them. I'm 36.

MMcanny · 06/04/2018 21:26

Is that you, Theresa? They are very you.

Brittanyspears · 06/04/2018 21:27

Yes, if i was an elegant 80 year old

FlatTopVera · 06/04/2018 21:28

I think they’re ok. But perfect for what you need them for!

GreenShadow · 06/04/2018 21:29

Those toes do NOT look comfy at all. Far too pointy and toe-squashing!

ihatethecold · 06/04/2018 21:34

No

Aprilviolet · 06/04/2018 21:36

Sorry but not for me! X

endofacentury · 06/04/2018 21:52

They do look comfy but I don't think the heel looks right, doesn't seem to match? If the heel was black would be better .. but it's a no from me

turnipfarmers · 06/04/2018 21:55

no but it depends what the alternatives are, if you said it was those or a pair of Hotter shoes then I'd say those.

TheJoyOfSox · 07/04/2018 09:57

Thank you everyone for your input.

@GreenShadow, I know what you mean about the pointy toes, but that’s never where I experience pain when wearing heels, so I was looking for comfort for the soles of my feet. The point may mean I’m swapping pain in one place for pain elsewhere. You have a point indeed (sorry for that pun)

I seem to have a mix of yes and no, so I’m no clearer as to whether they are ugly or ok. @halfwitpicker it’s nice to know a 30+ doesn’t recoil from them, thank you.
